Walking through Holy Week
Today you will be offered palm crosses to take home. They have no magic; they are just symbols. But of what? Think of the crowds that greeted Jesus at the beginning of Holy Week and the ones that called for His death only days later. Even today, crowds can often be persuaded to agree with almost anything. Valueless ideas and arguments then go on, gaining momentum, influencing many. May your palm cross remind you to always weigh what we hear and see in light of God’s Word (our Bible) that we may know His truth above the din and deception of the crowd

Prayer for our Church Family
Almighty God, on this day Your Son Jesus Christ entered the holy city of Jerusalem and was proclaimed King by those who spread their garments and palm branches along His way. Let those branches be for us signs of His victory, and grant that we who bear them in His name may ever hail Him as our Lord, and follow Him in the way that leads to eternal life. Amen.
