Prayer for Today
Almighty God, You sent Your Holy Spirit to be the life and light of Your church. Open our hearts to the riches of Your grace, that we may bring forth the fruit of the Spirit in love, joy and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen

Prayer for the Worldwide Anglican Church
We pray for the Church of the Province of South East Asia, the Most Reverend Ng Moon Hing, Archbishop of South East Asia and Bishop of West Malaysia.

Provincial Prayer Care
We pray for the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario, Archbishop Colin Johnson and the Provincial Council

Diocese Prayer Care
We pray for the Archdeaconry of Montreal – the Venerable James Bennett, the Deanery of Hochelaga – the Reverend Canon Keith Schmidt, and l’Église de la Nativité – the Reverend Dr. Victor-David Mbuyi Bipungu

Prayer for our Church Family
Dear Lord, You have told us in Your Word that You hear our prayers. We are crying out to You, we are humbling ourselves before You and seeking Your face. We come together as a church body to seek You. We repent and turn from our wicked ways, thank You for hearing us. Thank You for Your forgiveness and healing.

My Utmost for His Highest (August 12)

“…O you of little faith”. What a stinging pain must have shot through the disciples as they surely thought to themselves, “We missed the mark again!” And what pain will go through us when we suddenly realize that we could have produced complete and utter joy in the heart of Jesus by remaining absolutely confident in Him, in spite of what we are facing.

It is when a crisis arises that we instantly reveal upon whom we rely. If we have been learning to worship God and to place our trust in Him, the crisis will reveal that we can go to the point of breaking yet without breaking our confidence in Him.
