We live in confusing times, and it can be hard to know whom to trust. But Jesus’ high priestly prayer teaches us that God Himself is with us, and He is fully trustworthy.
The perfect relationship between God and mankind was broken when sin entered the human race and severed our communion with Him. Today, our personal sins continue to be a barrier between us and Him. But the Bible teaches that “God is love” (1 John 4:8). In fact He loves us so much that He sent His Son to reconcile us to Himself (Col. 1:18-22). On the cross, Jesus defeated sin and then rose from the grave, triumphing over death. By choosing to live in relationship with Jesus Christ, we’re no longer slaves to the way of life that ends in spiritual death – eternal separation from God and His lovingkindness. Through Him alone, we can experience freedon and joy. But to be saved, we must confess from our heart that Jesus is Lord and believe that He rose from the dead and is alive today (Rom. 10:9).
You can have eternal life now by asking Jesus to come and live in your heart and become your Saviour.
Pray a prayer like the one below or use your own words:

Lord Jesus, I believe You died so that I might be accepted as a child of God. Please forgive me, help me turn from my sins, come into my heart and show me how to follow You each and every day. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. Amen. In Touch – Jan/Feb 2019
