FAITH
Few steps of faith equal smooth sailing, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth taking. Put your hope in the fact that the God who calls you will catch you. – Charles Stanley

Faith is the art of holding on to things your reason has once accepted, in spite of your changing moods. – C.S. Lewis

Don’t be afraid to step out in faith for God. You will never get to walk on water if you won’t step out of the boat. – Anonymous

Prayers and Intercessions

Prayer for Today
Almighty God, Your Son has opened for us a new and living way into Your presence. Give us pure hearts and constant wills to worship You in spirit and in truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Prayer for the Worldwide Anglican Church
We pray for the Province de L’Eglise Anglicane au Rwanda – the Most Reverend Laurent Mbanda – Archbishop of L’Eglise Episcopal au Rwanda & Bishop of Shyira.

Provincial Prayer Care
We pray for the Diocese of Québec – Bishop Bruce Myers.

Diocesan Prayer Care
We pray for the Companion Diocese – Masasi – the Right Reverend James Almasi and also for the Companion Diocese – The People’s Territory – the Right Reverend Barbara Andrews.

Prayer for our Church Family
Lord, we ask that You bestow Your wisdom on us. In all our situations give us the discernment to hear Your voice and Your voice alone. We don’t want to lean on our own knowledge because it lets us down at times. Speak to us in the way You know we will hear You best. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

For those who wish to pray with someone, a prayer team is available after the Service in the left-hand corner of the Sanctuary. The Prayer Team scheduled for today is: Susan & Christopher
