Prayers and Intercessions

Prayer for Today
O God, our defender, storms rage about us and cause us to be afraid. Rescue Your people from despair, deliver Your sons and daughters from fear, and preserve us all from unbelief; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Prayer for the Worldwide Anglican Church
We pray for the Church of North India – the Most Reverend Dr. Prem Chand Singh – Moderator of the Church of North India & Bishop of Jabalpur.

Provincial Prayer Care
We pray for the Diocese of Western Newfoundland – Bishop John Organ.

Diocesan Prayer Care
We pray for the Montreal Alternate Clerical Members of General Synod – the Venerable Michael Robson and the Reverend Sophie Rolland and also for the Montreal Alternate Lay Members of General Synod – Ms. Jane Aitken.

Prayer for our Church Family
Lord, Your Word tells us that if we love You, we must also love our sisters and brothers. Therefore, we will look out for each other’s needs. We will turn away from evil, do good, and seek peace. We will encourage and build each other up and above all things, we will keep our hearts and minds on You. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

For those who wish to pray with someone, a prayer team is available after the Service in the left-hand corner of the Sanctuary. The Prayer Team scheduled for today is: Dulcy & Christopher
