Prayers and Intercessions
Prayer for Today
Almighty God, You have exalted Your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to Your kingdom in heaven. Mercifully give us faith to know that, as He promised, He abides with us on earth to the end of time; Who is alive and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
Prayer for the Worldwide Anglican Church
We pray for La Iglesia Anglicana de Mexico – the Most Reverend Francisco Moreno, Presiding Bishop and Bishop of Northern Mexico.
Provincial Prayer Care
We pray for the Ecclesiastical Province of British Columbia and the Yukon – Archbishop John Privett and the Provincial Council.
Diocesan Prayer Care
We pray for Vocational Deacons – the Reverend Merlyne Howard, the Reverend Canon Peter Huish, and the Reverend Mary Pickup.
Prayer for our Church Family
Lord, help our church body to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have given us. Help us in all our interactions with one another to have humble and gentle hearts. Grant us patience for one another, bearing with one another in love. May we walk humbly with You, God.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
