Today, we welcome Mrs. Sally Richmond to our Aervice. Sally is the Director of Logifem, the Women’s Shelter founded by Mr. Benny Benoy. We look forward to hearing her message.
A special welcome also to anyone who is visiting us this morning.
The Song of Mary is one of the most joyful odes I have ever come across. Here we see a woman who has clearly been touched by God. Her joy is so profound, she cannot contain herself. Her heart is bursting with song, as she praises God for all of His blessings.
This young lady has had to contend with some extraordinary goings-on by this point. There is so much that she is struggling to grasp. One thing is abundantly clear to her, though. God is in charge. It must be as He says it will be.
The visit with Elizabeth seems to bring some clarity to her life. She is affirmed as a child of God with a very particular calling. She is ready to go forward, trusting in God’s plan, relying on God’s promise.
The Psalmist writes, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” Those who trust in the Lord feel ready to face anything. May you be filled with God’s power as you learn to stand on His promises.
