Today’s Thought
Faithful ones, today’s Gospel speaks to me of intentionality. For God to be the vine, and us the branches, what we do must flow from him all the time. He is the one force behind our thoughts, words and deeds.
In the world of sports, a number of athletes have mad lucky, ‘johnny-on-the-spot’ game-winning shots, much to the thrill of the crowd. However, these are not usually the ones you count on when the team is down. The ones you count on are those who can be trusted to make the shot all the time. It is their nature. They do it all the time.

Prayers and Intercessions
Prayer for Today
Merciful God, You have prepared for those who love You riches beyond imagination. Pour into our hearts such love toward You, that we, loving You above all things, may obtain Your promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who is alive and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Lord, help us to live for You. May all that we say and do be directed towards the kingdom of heaven. Keep us ready, with our lamps lit. May others see our joy and hope in believing,
and give glory to God. Amen.
