Prayer for Today

Almighty God, Whose chosen servant Abraham obeyed Your call, rejoicing in Your promise that in him the family of the earth is blessed, give us faith like his, that in us Your promises may be fulfilled; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Prayer for the Worldwide Anglican Church

We pray for the Church of Ceylon (E-P to the Archbishop of Canterbury): Colombo – (Ceylon) – The Right Reverend Dhiloraj Ranjit Canagasabey Kurunegala – (Ceylon) – The Right Reverend Keerthisiri Fernando.

Provincial Prayer Care
We pray for the Ecclesiastical Province of Rupert’s Land, Archbishop Gregory Kerr-Wilson and the Provincial Council.

We pray for Parish Secretaries, Wardens, and Treasurers

Prayer for our Church Family
Father, we bless Your Holy Name and we place all our cares on You. Help us to be good neighbors to each other, looking out for one another. Help us to hear Your Word and to understand what it means to live the Christian life. Bless our thoughts, our words and our deeds. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Logifem is proud to announce that it will be celebrating its
30th anniversary this December!
To honour this joyous occasion, we have invited the Imani Family Choir
to perform a special Christmas concert.

The concert will be held on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 from 7pm – 9 pm
at St. Jax, Montreal, 1439 Ste-Catherine St. W., corner of Bishop.
Doors will open at 6:30pm.

Mulled wine, hot apple cider and festive snacks will be served.

Forgive me, Lord, when I overlook —
The beauty of a sunset
The beauty in a human soul
The beauty all around me.

Forgive me, Lord, when I don’t appreciate —
The goodness which You show me
The goodness found in others
The goodness of Your world itself.

Forgive me, Lord, when I ignore —
The signals that You send me
The signs and wonders that You show me
The life in Christ I have.

Forgive me, Lord, when I depend —
Upon myself instead of You
Upon others instead of Christ
Upon opinions instead of Spirit.

Forgive me, Lord, when I hide in fear —
From those You choose to love me
From those You send to help me
From those who come in Your Name.

Let me recognize in everything —
Your Hand at work through human hands
Your Love at work through human hearts
Your Will at work through human deeds.

Lord, as I go forward in the life You have for me
Let me always remember that FORGIVENESS is the key
To unlock all the prison doors, and set the captives free
And help me to do likewise – As You have forgiven me.
