HELP is a prayer. And by help, I mean Hello Eternal Loving Presence. (Michael Bernard)
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” He replied, If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you. (Luke 17:5-6)
Genuine success involves doing what the Lord has called you to do, not just occasionally but continually. It has to do with persistence rather than perfection. When this is your definition of success, you can know that the Lord wants you to succeed. (Dr. Charles F. Stanley)
Prayers and Intercessions
Prayer for Today
Almighty God, You have built Your Church on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone. Join us together in unity of spirit by their teaching, that we may become a holy temple, acceptable to You; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Prayer for the Worldwide Anglican Church
We pray for the Church in Wales, The Most Reverend John Davies, Archbishop of Wales and Bishop of Swansea and Brecon.
Diocesan Prayer Care
We pray for the Parish of St. Thomas and St. Patrick Square Residence, the Reverend Karla Holmes.
Prayer for our Church Family
Heavenly Father, You made us each unique with gifts to be used for the furtherance of your Kingdom. Give us the courage to step out in faith and do those things that are pleasing to you. Ground us by reading your Word and by relying on Your strength and not our own. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
For those who wish to pray with someone, a prayer team is available after the Service in the left-hand corner of the Sanctuary. The Prayer Team scheduled for today is: Dulcy & Christopher
