August 19, 2022
In the past week and a half we had a couple of good harvests.
And we were happy to pick our first batch of celery!
Our little aloe plant came back to life and we see the beets coming soon!
We continue to thank all who come to help, to talk, to visit, to accept the harvest.
Come and visit us or join in the gardening – we love to share in any way we can!
July 29 – August 3, 2022
This week we’ve been able to share lots of lettuce, zucchini, onions, herbs and much more!
With everyone’s help the garden is flourishing.
Thank you to all!
Another good week in the garden. 🍅🥕🫑
Things are coming along well and the harvesting is well underway.
And we love to share whatever we can with whoever we can!
Thanks to all the workers who give their time to make it all possible.
God is good! ✝️

Hard at work again last Friday but lots of fun!
The produce is coming along well, the carrots being a bit slower
We had some visitors again – we love that! 🙂
Photographers came to take pictures – can you spot the drone?
The drone took an aerial shot – looks good!
And we love the little animals that keep popping in!

Another workday in the garden!
Some more of the kale and spinach came out, plants were moved around, higher tomato stakes were put up, and we had a couple of youngsters helping us today.
Grateful for all the help there is!
And the birds keep an eye on everything for us!

Another great day but sure a bit cooler!
Got the peppers planted and the fence has been put up so the little ‘visitors’ don’t dig things up!
Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who don’t only come on Friday mornings but come by during the week to see how the garden is progressing.
Praise God for these beautiful people!

A great start to the Community Garden!
The first seeds were planted after lots of hard work and good camaraderie thanks to the volunteers of St. Joseph’s Church and Mission Nouvelle Génération.
If you would like to volunteer to help with the upkeep of the garden over the summer, please contact Pastor Belle at St. Joseph’s Church (450-672-4549) or Stéphanie at the Mission (450-486-7667)
