S.H.E. Ladies (Serving Him Eternally)
The SHE Ladies of St. Joseph’s Church meet Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m. The main purpose of our meeting is to knit, crochet or sew items such as hats and mitts, scarves, lap robes, afghans, etc. which are then distributed by the South Shore Ecumenical Council to needy families in the area at Christmas time.
We also collect used stamps which we send to the Leprosy Mission whose offices are based in Ontario. The purpose of the Mission is to sell the stamps in bulk to stamp collectors in order to raise funds.
We are always happy to see new faces, and even if you cannot knit or crochet, then we would welcome you to share in our fellowship.
