“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35-36.

Prayers and Intercessions

Prayer for Today

Almighty God, Your Son revealed in signs and miracles the wonder of Your saving love. Renew Your people with Your heavenly grace, and in all our weakness sustain us by Your mighty power; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who is alive and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Prayer for our Church Family

Almighty God, You give us a new name, a new identity, a new purpose in life. When we give our lives to You, we are not the same. We are better, because we are closer to who You want us to be. May our lives shine forth with the brilliance of Your kingdom, that You may use us to light the way to salvation for all mankind. This we pray in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

Today’s Prayer Team

For those who wish to pray with someone, a prayer team is available after the Service in the left-hand corner of the Sanctuary. – Susan Mathai & Christopher Belle
