Prayers and Intercessions
Prayer for Today
Almighty God, Whose Son fasted forty days in the wilderness, and was tempted as we are but did not sin, give us grace to discipline ourselves in submission to Your Spirit, that as You know our weakness, so we may know Your power to save; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Prayer for the Worldwide Anglican Church
We pray for the Iglesia Anglicana de Chile – the Most Reverend Héctor Zavala Muñoz, Bishop of Santiago & Primate.
Provincial Prayer Care
We pray the Ecclesiastical Province of British Columbia and the Yukon – Archbishop Melissa Skelton and the Provincial Council.
Diocesan Prayer Care
We pray for the Anglican Parish of Mascouche – the Reverend Jean-Claudel Wagnac.
Prayer for Our Church Family
Heavenly Father, as we enter this season of Lent, help us to be mindful of the gift that Jesus is and the sacrifice he made so that we may be with him for eternity. Help us to reach out to others in our communities so that they will know Jesus’ saving grace.
